Education and Professional Background

For the past 20 years I have been a special education teacher at Greenwich High School in Greenwich Ct. in a program for the Emotionally Challenged.  I worked in an incredible program with a tremendous staff of people and kids and was so blessed to have had a job that mattered.  A difficult job for sure, but having a black belt and teaching high school is effective dual certification.  May I say again how fortunate I was to have my job?  I loved my job, my kids.  I was in the right place for all those years.  I  learned with them.  The program was originally a totally self contained program for the students, but over the years, we became partially mainstreamed as well.  I taught American History, Law in America, and a Film class where we all learned a lot, laughed, and cried.
